Fuel tank mounting bolts 1999 Pro Sport

Can anyone tell me the size bolts to mount my fuel tanks??? Need the 5 for the tanks also the nut and bolt for the dashboard.

Can't find my bolts anywhere :-( Took tanks off 1 1/2 yr ago to remove stuck caps and for various reasons just now ready to put them back on. Bolts should be sitting in a ziplock bag with a piece of 3x5 card to ID them (as is my standard) but I can't find them anywhere in my shop.

Bolt diameter and length? Do I need regular washers or fender washers?
Do the dashboard nuts use a washer (I don't recall it did, but it was an acorn nut) and for the bolt on the bottom of the dash, would that use a neoprene or nylon washer???

:(:mad::confused::confused::confused::confused::(

MY 2000 Vintage are standard Evo Harley tank mounts and bushings. I just replaced them a couple months ago.

Thanks. I've been told they are most similar to "Dyna" models (which I think are Evo's??) If I search for fuel tank bolt kit for a 1999 Dyna Wide Glide, would that get me what I need??

OK, thanks!

I contacted Big Dog years ago and was told my bike was closest to a "Dyna" for shop manuals (so I got a 1999 Harley Dyna GLide shop manual). When I need to order miscellaneous parts, am I safe searching for "1999 Dyna Wide Glide"????? Never sure if there is a difference in parts for the "Super Glide" or "Dyna Covertible" etc.

What would be safest model to search for basic parts? For instance, if "Soft tails" are closer, does it matter which model? There are so many Harley models I'm never sure which to pick when I search online parts sites.

For the most part, items like spark plug wires, ignition, voltage regulator, oil filter etc... softail “evo” is the most communicative code word at a Harley parts desk. You will find old school v-twin shops to know every part of your bike at first glance as yours and mine too are essentially a kit of parts made up from Harley aftermarket upgrades. Evo style S&S motor, drivetrain, starters were very poular aftermarket resources for custom bikes and nearly every mechanic i have ever met anywhere in thecountry is familiar.
