Need a little help here, I think I have a bad fuel pump, I have 12 volts going to the selonoid on the pump but coming out of the selonoid I have 12 going to the low fuel indicater but only .08 going to the fuel pump. I bought a pump but it didnt come with a selonoid, now Im having trouble finding a selonoid. Any advice ? Im dealing with an 07 BD Bulldog.

What solenoid are you referring to, I just ordered a pump and a pressure regulator for mine, hasn't arrived yet, had zero pressure. The o-ring on the regulator feel apart when I removed it. Not familiar with a regulator, do you mean the EFI relay?

I believe its a selonoid, I might be using the wrong term. But attached to the pump, in the tank, the wires enter the tank and go into a "selonoid" then the 4 wires come out and #1- ground, #2 goes to the low fuel gauge, the other two wires go to the pump. I was getting 12 v into the selonoid but only .08 v to the pump after the selonoid. I did find a complete pump thru S&S.

Is this what you are referring to?

I believe this is only used to "pot" the wires to seal them as they pass thought he tank.

If you have 12v at the connector, and none at the pump, the wire could be broken in the seal body. Check for continuity between the terminal at the fuel pump and the terminal at the main harness connection. If not, then the wire is bad.

Does the pump run when you apply 12 v to it? If so, pump is ok.

You were right, hit the pump with 12v and it kicked over. I seemed to have chased the problem to the relay area. when I hit the run button I get a signal to the relay but nothing to the pump or coil. It appeared the signal from the EHC to the relay was not going to ground. I took a jumper wire from neg. on battery to ground terminal on relay and the pump kicked over. Could I not be getting ground in the EHC or EFI module ? If anybody is looking for a slightly used, working fuel pump for a 07 BD, I have one.

The ground to the relay that controls fuel pump, ignition coil, fuel injectors and sensors is controlled by the S&S EFI control module not the EHC.

Which side of the relay were you grounding? If you were grounding the load side of the relay, then you haven't ruled out the relay itself or the power circuit on the control side.

If it was the control side, then I would recommend you contact Tom Hampton at S&S and have the EFI module checked out. I had the same issue, and it turned out the EFI module was bad.

Thanks, I hit the control side and got power to pump and coil. Tom said it sounds like the ECU but to try downloading the Protune II software and try to confirm. I got my hands on a EHC tester and Break-out box also, they seem to say the EHC is working fine.
