Fuel Injection

Does anyone have a fuel injected dog out there and if so how do you like it? How is the throttle response and performance compared to a carbureted machine? Also do they sound the same or have a different idle sound?

Muggs, I'm moving your thread to the EFI section where it belongs. Lots of theads here on EFI. Have you checked them out?

Muggs I have the EFI on my K-9 and i love it fixin to go to durango colorado next month which is 8 hour drive will go threw couple of passes my wife and i planned on going to higher alltitude and hope the map sensor will help it run better in higher elevation as far as the sound it sounds the same as carbs throttle response is the same. it cost 2K more to get EFI but i plan on going to the mountains alot and didn't want to worry about having to rejet bike

FI here as well. It coughed and farted a few times but I think it's still learning. You need to keep the rpm's within the recommended range and no problems. Seems to me that it's been running better everytime I take it out. Bike runs strong even with two people.
