FUEL ENRICHER????

WHAT THE HELL? Good thing i was doing some research on my bike, (while at work), I assumed it was a choke, i've been using it as one! Probably need to check my plugs when i get home. I'm sure the previous owner didnt know this, he wasnt exactly a wrencher. Anyway, i'm not trying to restart this subject, but it might also be good info for the other rook's. (just search it!)

My plan is to go to Iron Lightning/Tulsa tomorrow and have them show me some more things on the bike, that i may not know about. I feel its running a little rich. And also buy some junk!.............And have Biker Babe bless my bike!

Does this mean you've been running with the "enrichener" on? That wouldn't be good to do even if it was a choke! (Although the purpose of both is the same... to provide a richer fuel/air mixture for starting.)

Pop that enrichener up and crank the throttle twice. Then hold the throttle closed and start her up. Dont leave the enrichener up for more than one or two seconds. Pop that puppy back down and let her warm up.

Have you tried to start it with just a couple of twists of the wrist? Get the cruise mate to make it easy to warm up.

NO NO NO! i was using it to start it in the mornings, at 35 & 40 degrees. NOT RIDING WITH IT ON, come on, i may be new but i aint stoopid!

Yep if the enricher is on to long you'll foul the plugs in the blink of an eye.....
