no shit....it was the opposite for me....my S&S boxes are way quiter than my TP boxes were...but then again...I had the boxes ...heads....valvetrain all switched out to S&S:2thumbs:

I tried to trade mine up to a new K9 a few weeks ago. I've got a 2006 Ridgeback with 2500 miles on it, and still a full year warranty left. The book on my 06 right now is $13500. They were "kind" enough to offer me $14500 because I was a regular customer. What a joke. Notice all the the upgrades I have in my motor too. I guess I'll be keeping the hardtail for a while yet.

BTW - the insurance company will give you an offer slightly higher than book, but not much.

Custom Choppers have taken the worst beating than any other type of vehicle in this great economy of ours.

My dealership offered me 12.5k on trade in on a new 28k Ridgeback. I laughed, I cried and then went to drink some beer.
