The dlxprodox pegs have a ball bearing locking mechanism to keep them in the up or down position very nice feature

That sounds good as my pegs don't stay up any more but that's not the issue being discussed. But that might make a good addition when I have the pegs off and am modifing them.

I drilled and tapped a 1/4x20x1/2" deep hole, tapped with bottoming tap, and screwed in a nylock button head so I can adjust the angle of the pegs. I needed a slight up angle because at full throttle my feet were vibrating/flying of the pegs. Now they stay on.

I've only ever seen or heard about mylock nuts, do you have a pic or source for this nylock button head you used. I'd be very interested.

Never mind -- I found them online and realized I had one once for some project long ago but didn't realize exactly what it was.

You can do the same thing with a regular button head by using thin washers under the head to build up the stop to what you want and drop some blue loctite on the thread. Good luck!
