Wondering if any one has had or heard of any problem with front end on a k9, my wifes bike has popping noise when backing and turning her bars, i have tighten all the front end but unable to find the noise, sounds and feels like the top of the left fork at the upper clamp area. Thanks

My 08 Mutt does the same thing if I roll the bike backward and turn the bars. I was thinking it may be a neck bearing, but with only 5000 mi on the bike I wouldn't think the bearings would be bad already.

Brake pads !!!! on forward motion and breaking, ur pads will actualy move forward where seated in the caliper. When you move your bike backwards and apply the brake to stop your pads will move back slightly.....causing this noise....hope this helps ya...

As far as the pads i cant feel the noise there and feels like the top of the left fork but i can remove the caliper to double check and the bike only has 1200mi and started at about 500mi. Thanks

My clutch cable will do something similar when backing with the bars cranked to one side.

It makes a popping noise when it slides back behind my indicator light housing.
