Tiny question.....Are the brake pads on my 2004 Mastiff easy to replace as they appear to be??? Also, who is a good vendor to get these pads????

Hip -- thirty easy minutes. I pull-clean-swap-install in that time. I use sbs (Scandinavian Brake Systems) part 678H, run 25-30 bucks.

Good luck!

Chacha....Do you get your pads locally?? (No Va..!!!) I did a google on these pads and found a vendor in Woodlawn VA. Too far for me, so I need a place closer to SW VA.!!

Thanks Man...!!!

LRB... all the bite, good braking, longevity of semi metalic. But limited brake dust, noise, and eating of your rotor like a organic. The best of both worlds!!

Shouldn't this be in the tech section not the how to.

Thanks Big C. I have 12,000+ on mine now and my rears are shot. Never hardly use the front. I'm ordering these in just a few minutes.

ChaCha, I'm hoping that the same pads that fit your bike are the same ones for my 07 Chopper. Because I ordered the same set fom the place you suggested by the link you posted.

on the rear pads, aren't the calipers a top loader type? so all you have to do is pull the pin and spring, push the pads back with a brake spoon and lift them out and slide the new ones back in? At least it looks that way to me.

Hey guys...any shop that deals with Drag Specialties can get the pads you meed. They are the same ones I have in my PM calipers and yes they are easy to change.
