Might be a dumb question, but were the forward controls the same on all big dogs from 05 and up?

For some reason not all of them have the same length rod for the shifter.
The 2.5 in kit I got had a rod that was too long. I cut it down and tapped it. No big deal.
I never figured out which bikes use which rods. Weird.

K9 and Ridge have more stretch than the chopper ETC..
