I just bought the 5" forward controls from DM Custom and as i installing them, I realized that i already have 2.5" extensions on my bike, so the stock plate is gone. Does anybody know where Incan get those stock plates so i can attach the 5" plates to it?

If you would like to make a deal for the 2.5 extensions and your plate we can work something out for my stock plate.

I'm a bit confused as my stock plate is installed on my forward
Custom extensions from DM Customs. The stock plate is needed to be installed on the extension plate so you should already have. Have you talked to Doug?

The brake side uses a new plate and the stock foot control to reposition the foot control when using the factory BDM 2.5" extension kit. The shifter side is a complete billet replacement of the factory piece to move the shifter forward 2.5". So, the holes on the new extension kit are drilled to fit the factory position controls backing plate. There is a difference in the plate under the brake side control between the factory position and the 2.5" extension kit offered by BDM.

Ahhh. So I do need the factory plates then, right?

You will need the factory plate for the right side, and the factory billet shifter block for the left side unless there has been a revision of the extension kits.
