Fork Tube

Went for a ride today and heard a noise coming from the front end. Found that both bolts that hold the fender bracket to the fork have broken off. I Cannot get the broken studs out of the fork leg. Trying to buy one thru bikers dream. Bumming big time. Anyone know of anyone having one for a 2008 Mutt?

Try Alden's Pro Grabit extractors. They should remove those pesky broken bolts.

Any decent machine shop should able to get them out and re-tap the holes. WAY cheaper than new downtubes.

Joe...if you are coming back north soon, bring it along. I have what you need to get those studs out.

Soak the threads if possible with Kroil or equivalent prior to extraction OR get a machine shop to get them out.
