Look for me on the road.
I ordered my phantoms at Mancuso in Houston and was wondering if it was difficult to take out that screen inside?

just my .02 but taking them out means loosing back pressure
which means it might not run good down low.

i have those pipes and they are loud but not annoying and my bike runs good down low

I do know that Alicat is running them, and not real happy with the torque down low, but I couldn't tell you if he or pulled the screen out, or not...

I believe he is running the 117, S&S dual intake, xXx carb, and 600 cam, so he does have some performance upgrades that should breathe well and create more exhaust gas' than straight stock...

CCRainman is currently running them, and I think Sul and ChaCha have as well...

I have the 107 with XXX and 600 cam and you loose a lot of torque with these pipes. I don't mind but for performance these are not exactly what you are looking for. I have my screens in.

Yea Cutter is right, I have the 117, S&S Boxes, XXX carb, S&S dual intake, 600 cam, with these pipes and with the screen in and I can certainly feel the difference in loss of torque. But I love the sound!!!!!!
Bike still breath's strong and sucks gas...getting about 100 miles to the 4 gallon tank before I have to go to reserve. 115 max!

I used to have these pipes before they added the screen in them and the decel pop was horrible. With the new screens in them how is the decel pop?

I got them in last saturday and these pipes are bad!! I scared the crap out of a guy in a convertable mini cooper. I had no idea the flames they shoot at night. I'll post pics soon.

My buddy has them on his BD chopper. Last month when we went to Laughlin, he set off EVERY car alarm in the whole 7 (or however many) story parking garage of the Aquarius hotel where we were staying!! He delights in doing that! Man, Loud!! He (and me too) love em. I think I may get them for my chopper. What (if I may ask) did you have to give for them?

Shovelcowboy

Here he is main st sturgis last yr (unfortunately doesn't show the phantoms).
