First Ride with the .585 cam and 4" forward extensions

I have lived in Tennessee all my life and I have never heard of ROCK ISLAND PARK just below Sparta, Tennnessee. The Postman and I (with my wife) decided to head there to try out our new .585 cams and my 4" forward extensions and the new seats from the Seatmaker, before we make the Blueridge Parkway run this coming weekend if the weather allows.
Here is a photo of the dam with the runoff from it:

Here the water takes a plunge into the gorge

Here is my wife of 37 years standing next to a small cascade

And here is the major cascades that follow the course of the gorge

Cam swap update:
The Postman and I took our K9's for about a 250 mile ride today with the new .585 cams.
The cam makes the engine have a little more of a "Po-ta-to" sound while at idle. Riding 2-up with my wife I got 45 miles per gallon on the first 100+ miles, and then got 41 miles per gallon on the second 100+ miles. There feels like a noticeable increase in low end torque which was exactly what I was looking for in the cam swap. I enjoy cruising down the road in the 55 to 65 mph zone, and I rarely wind the engine past 3500rpm before shifting. No increase in valve train noise, and overall I am very happy with the cam choice. We were riding the hills of Tn. in the Rock Island area, some areas are very steep and sharp curves. Performance is exactly what we hoped for.

4" Forward Control update:
This has finally got the forward controls were someone 6'2" needs them.

Great pics Bowhunter:2thumbs: My uncle moved to Tennessee and is a botanist for the state. He gets to see all the great beauty of your state every day. Never been, some day I'll make the trip.

Where did you get the 4" controls? I have the BDM 2.5" but at 6'7" I could use a few more inches (go ahead, make your jokes ;) )

Thanks for the positive feedback, this is a great place to live.
GTXgp- I fabricated the 4" extension for myself and a 6" extension for Postman. Hopefully KaptinAmerika is going to be making up kits for all you guys soon.
