First Ride on the Mastiff Dog..Questions

Hi,
Had my first test ride on a Mastiff 2007 prior to making up my mind to buy one. Amazing ride and looks from everyone passing by. I had a few questions
that I am sure you guys will have the answer for.
When turning I felt I had to fight the front to turn. Initially the front
tire was not up to full pressure, which when we did pressurize made a huge difference. But I have heard and read about the rear 300 giving more torque
and thus the slight difference. Still great ride and the bike I want.
Also the breaking sequence on turns and in straight runs. Back break and
front? Just back? I have had different opinions given to me on other bikes
but need to know what is the golden rule.
Other than that, I will most likely get a Dog! Thanks all!!

Counter Steer is the key to any good riding, especially with bigger tires. For braking, most time it is front and rear with judicial use of clutch in certain situation.

I'm not a new rider but, my BD is new to me. I find counter steering requires a lot more effort, more of press forward on one grip AND pull on the other vs. the typical press left to lean left, etc.

It takes a little time to get used to leaning the bike with the wider rear tire. But you'll scraping pegs before you know it:hi:
