Called Bikers Dream and and got my project started. They said they have been installing the 600 cam on the 117s with no problems and they suggest that it would be a good upgrade along with the Duall Runner intake and the new S&S module. They will install a program on the module to match my upgrades then it will learn on its own. I did ask about the springs and they said the springs will handle the 600.

Corey, is the S&S module for fuel injection bikes only or carb also? Just wondering, I was thinking on doing the same upgrade. I just did the S&S dual run and the 600 cam is just sitting in my shop. I'm not sure if I really want to pull out a perfectly good cam. :bang: The bike (07 K9) only has 1,400 miles. Thanks

The module is for the fuel injected Dogs and replaces the locked stock one. Its around $500 and it wasn't in stock as of friday. He is calling me back next week with an exact price and shipping date. From everything i read on here and from what i see in performance boost from guys i ride with the cam is a great upgrade. I'll be dropping the bike off at the shop probably the third week of march

I'm sorry but I don't have that part number. I am going thru Bikers Dream and they are taking care of it. They are having S&S load a base map for my configuration then they are sending it to them. When I get the module (maybe 10 business days) I will post a part number. He also talked to me in pretty good detail about the 600 cam.

The S&S VFI module replacement kit part number is 55-5090 which comes with the protune software and the replacement module 55-5069 which I found out from Corey. You'll need to provide info on your bike for S&S to program. I have not installed it yet bike is in hibernation.

Mick at Too Badd Customs one of our supporters may be able to help out I think he now sells S&S parts. He did not at the time I bought mine.

Give us an update when your bike is finished Corey I'm curious how it'll run.

The part number on the S&S Variable Fuel Injection module is 55-5069. This is what Bikers Dream sent me and what S&S programed for my bike so it should be right on.

So I drove the bike back from the shop and all I could do is smile :) WOW what a difference!!!! and i have to install the Dual Runner still. Very happy with the 600 cam and S&S module. Can't wait to get some miles on it. I'm sure even though it will only be 42 degrees tomorrow i'll take it out after the dual runner is on.

Forgive my stupidity but what will the 600 cam do for performance. Is it for torque , hp what. I already have the dual intake but am very interested in the cam and s&s module.

546 cam in the 08 so big big difference going to the 600. I dont know for sure but i'm thinking the fuel injection module that S&S programmed for it has something to do with bad assness of it all! I don't know about HP and Torque numbers yet but it ups both. I know the difference by riding it is night and day. The throttle response in way better and the power difference is very noticeable and i am not second guessing this upgrade at all. I am very curious what the numbers will be with the new VFI module. I will eventually do a dyno run. I think I'll order a tire soon cuz i don't think this one will last long!
