Finally -- A Ride!!!

EHC FREE!!!!
I picked up a new TV a couple of weeks ago (50" Plasma). The DirectTV guy was here today to install the HD dish and cables. I had to move my bike from its winter hibernation place in the garage and deceided it was time for a ride. I had the carb overflow on me so I turned off the fuel petcock and drained the bowl (forgot to do that last fall). I cranked it up and let it warm up for a while. I threw on a leather jacket and some gloves. The ride was not long - my face was about to freeze off and I am pretty sure my lungs are frostbit - but WHAT A BLAST!!! I can't wait for Spring. I have GOT to get some warm riding gear.

Keith, Try a full face helmet. I know a lot of guys don't like the way they look but it will extend you're riding season. I sure as hell don't look cool sittin at home on my couch.

I have a full face, but did not grab it. It was a spur of the moment ride. I have chaps and a heavy leather jacket and decent gloves. My real problem in the winter is keeping my nuts warm.
