Some will remember that i posted an update a couple years ago about my mastiff thst fell from the lift in my garage. I will try to keep short. First the background, i installed an open primary and dropped the bike from the lift out of carelessness. Insurance covered the damage and the shop i took it to cashed the check and did not finish the job. I was finally able to get my bike back in september 2014.( it had been in the shop since june 2012). I took it to a local independent shop that put it back together. I rode a couple times in november 2014 but the bike did not feel right. The Voltage regulator blew and i parked it for the winter. In feb 2015 i took it to a shop (C&C cycles) that is a former bigdog authotized service center. They squared the bike away in time for me to ride to Myrtle Beach for Harley bike week in the spring. I wound up riding over 5000 miles in 2015 with no major issues. I want to thank the people on here for the words of encouragement and advice. I also got a garage mate that will compete with the mastiff for time this summer.

Sounds like a bad story getting better... :)
I can relate to your troubles; mine is somewhat similar.

Me too!
Just want to say you are not alone in what happened: being taken; strung out over time and the bike just doesn't ride or perform the same as before the mishap. Somethings fixed while in for repairs: returned with new problems and new things now broken and others repaired going bad...

Everyone blaming the other guy, no one returning calls or standing behind their work.

Next time: I will be sure to get my bike totaled out! Take the cash even if less than expected and get something else...

or break the whole bike down and do all the work myself including learning to paint and air brush art to get exactly what I want; and not what other "big ego experts" think I want without my concurrence.

You were taken for years... :oldswear: :oldswear:
I am upset about 7 months lost... :oldswear:
