Final Drive Belt?

On my 08 Mastiff, it looks as if there is no space between the belt, and the rear tire. I verified its not touching but its really close. I plan on checking the rear alignment after the hollidays, but was wondering if this is normal? Thanks in advance for any comments.

Edit: I'd guess 1/32" between tire and belt.

Hey Rob, this is normal. you can maybe slip a piece of paper between it, thats how close it is.

Cool. Good to know. Thank you for the qick replies.

I also was considering a Metz when I wear the Avon down. I guess I'll stick with Avon.

Thanks for sharing.

Metzler makes a tire for our scoots now, so there's no more worries about tire rub...

I wish I had more money.
If it bugs you that it is so close you can sand the side of the tire down. I would leave as is but different strokes.
