Fall Riding

The rain finally stopped so I had the opportunity to get out for a therapeutic ride today.
These cool fall days are great for riding I think it was around 55-60 degrees. I gave her a bath this morning and got ready for the ride. Pulled out the leather jacket, chaps and neck warmer and was prepared for the ride. After she warmed up I was out for a ride and the doggie freakin loves the cool dry air, blue skies and changing colors of the leaves. I headed down the road out of the neighborhood and hit the main road took a right and ended up at a stop light where I received thumbs up and kudos from several people in cages as I waited till the light turned green. I accerated and listened to the engine roar up to that delightfull sound we all love to hear and she was pulling strong from the cool fall air. As I continued my ride today the smile and goose bumps from riding this machine completely engulfed me today. Why today? Because I'm alive and riding one of the most beautiful piece's of art and power that was produced by Big Dog.:cheers:

I know the feeling Earl! Fall is my favorite time of year. Comfortable temps, hardly any wind, very soothing, and somewhat 'tourist-free'. Hate to see winter come.

Glad you enjoyed your ride and shared!:2thumbs:

Thanks for sharing Earl,, reminds me salt and cold are close by ,, might get out and bust a move this afternoon through the country side with the Go Pro to see if I catch the leaves before they are gone.

It has been the best. Out twice this week, ended up in the mountains, both times forgot to take the camera. We have maybe a week or two and the color will be gone. :whoop:

It doesn't get any better than that!
My ride home from work last nite at Midnite was just a tad too chilly at 34 degrees Rode the Wing instead because it has a windshield
