Ok, I'll start.

2004 Chopper DT with the 117

2k miles - starter - warranty (after they replaced a brand new battery and charged me!)

3k miles - rear belt starts squealing. I check rear alignment and its WAAY off, dealer installed new rear tire at 800 miles.

5k miles - cam sensor failed

6k miles - lost my horn, literally. Bracket broke and horn is gone.

8k miles - Steering stem bolt backs out. Not so much a failure as me just not noticing that the gigantic bolt under my steering stem is backing out!

10k miles - handlebar control (left signal) came unplugged, easy fix. EHC headlight function failed. Direct wired headlight through a seperate switch.

12k miles - EHC ingnition function failed. Direct wired through a seperate switch.

I wish I had more money.

2008 K-9 EFI (total miles 2500):

1. 500 miles - Engine quit. Rear cylinder wasn't firing. Trailered 120 miles to Dallas for repair. Out of commission 10 days while Dallas Strokers tried to determine what was wrong. Replaced ignition wiring and coil.
2. 2500 miles - Engine quit today. Pushed it home approx. 2 miles. Will have to trailer 120 miles to Dallas Strokers to get diagnosed/repaired.

I don't trust this bike anymore out of sight from my house - wish I could get my money back!!!!! You live and learn - won't be buying anymore Big Dog high dollar unreliable motorcycles.
