I bought a brand new 08 K-9 in Dec. of 09. What is the best way to confirm that the dealer repaired all of the factory recalls? I asked and they said they did, but I would like to know for sure.

You could ask them to print off the documentation for you.

Call a different BD dealer with your project number and they will look it up. Good luck.

If you are planning on maintaining a relationship with your dealer then it's their job to help you. They must file those warranty claims with Big Dog so all they have to do is type in your VIN # and print it off. Just tell them that you want them for your personal records.

I believe there's a website that lists all the factory recalls, but I've lost it in the shuffle somewhere. Anyone have this?

not meaning to jack your post...but I just googled BIG DOG RECALLS and found a site. Only thing I see for my 07 K9 is bolts that hold the rear fender on....

does anyone else know of anything else?


From what I found your 08 falls into the same recall + fuel line ( ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE FUEL LINE CAN POTENTIALLY CONTACT HEATED METAL PARTS OF THE MOTORCYCLE AND MELT.)
