F/S: State Inspection Sticker Plate

Aluminum plate that mounts behind the factory kickstand so a state inspection sticker can be applied to it. Sanded smooth and ready to be polished if you desire to do that. It was easier to fabricate two at the same time to have a back-up. Well, the first template turned out fine so this is an extra one. Two pilot holes are already drilled that you can open further to accommodate the factory screws. Asking $5.00 US and will mail free to your address within the lower 48 US states.

Sweet deal for someone. I just let them stick mine on the front of the license plate holder. They look like chit just about anywhere they put them though.

The sticker is supposed to be in easy view for police to see, hence the fork but I agree that it's sinful to booger up nice liking forks or paint for that matter. Some inspection mechanics will go by the rule book regardless. I inquire first if they are willing to apply the sticker to that plate.... if not, I find another guy who will! After all, the police can see the sticker just as easily next to the kickstand.

Wasn't aware of a chrome plate. Can't quite picture how or where it would mount. Every bike inspection mechanic I've dealt with for the last 4 years has given me resistance on where to apply the sticker. Two of them claim the PA State Police have been visiting them, cracking down on stickers & license plate mounts. I even had to pay $21 for a new vertical license plate to fit the vertical tag holder. It wasn't a problem in the past but other bikers have told me they too are being told to have their license plate match the position of the mount --- I'm up in NW Pa. so maybe the enforcement is eventually working it's way down & eastward... just like like chit rolls downhill !

Mr. Wright

Knows some things
One of the bikes I have in my shop now has that inspection plate. First time I've seen one. My inspection guy has to put it on the fork, and if I ever get asked about where it is, I have to say that the inspection guy put it on the fork, and I move it to the plate. He just sticks the corner of the sticker, so I can move it.
