Another problem occured today fellas'

I got to laugh to keep my sanity!:2thumbs:

Took the bike to work then went home for lunch:2thumbs: , I started to hear a little rattling noise but didn't know where it was coming from:down: . Sounded like 2 pcs. of tin. I checked it out when I got home and couldn't find nothing .

Fired up the pup to bring it back to work and the starter stayed engaged with the bike running:angry: . The stop button wasn't working, so it just kept on going util the battery died . (about 2 minutes) How much damage do you think was caused internally due to the starter being engaged:bang: ?

This bike is really starting to Piss me off .

I'll be taking the starter off of the bike once I get home to see what happened. Oh-Well, back to the drawing board .

If I do end up needing a new starter what would any of you recommend?

Oscar, could just be a stuck plunger in the solenoid. I would pull the cover off and clean the contacts like BBChopper did in his how-to.

Wondering when it stuck couldn't you turn it off by turning the key off?
