Extended Controls - BDG?

Thanks for the reply, tall one.
Who is BDG? Am I mistaken, that maybe Big Bod factory now has 3" forwards?
Or is BDG a specialty outfit?
Thanks,
Louie

Same problem here. Just installed my 2 1/2 extended foot controls and can't get under them without pointing my toes as if I were in ballet. I think I will be cutting the shift rod. Looked at the splines on the tranny and quickly changed that thought. Even disassembled the controls again to make sure they were clocked right. I'm 6'2" and wear size 13 shoe. Looks like about a quarter inch off both ends should do it. Compared the stock rod as well and big difference in length. Whoever's making these kits need to shorten the rods a little.

what hes talking about is the shift rod. it goes from the forward control to the shift arm on the transmission. there is a nut on each end you loosen those and turn the rod to shorten or lengthen, then re tighten the nuts

OK, just finished cutting about a 1/2 inch off the shift rod. Haven't rode yet to see how she feels. The rear is left handed threads and didn't have a tap so I just drilled it deeper and kept working in and out with oil until it bottomed out. Thought about just cutting more off just the front end instead but I wanted to make it even. As if anyone would know but me. At least it's even with the rear brake control now and I can get my toes under it without pointing.
