EXTENDED 2.5 FOOT CONTROLS

Ate Turkey and had a little time left and Just got mine installed today and man they are great!!:2thumbs: got them from WBC (Nelson) and as always he has great service.

Did you have to extend the brake line? I bought extensions for my bike and will propably not get to it till spring. In storage now.

the kit i got had the extended brake banjo tubing and was a breeze to put on. changed out the brake fluid while there. man i dont know how you guys up north can stand it not riding at least once a week.

Artie, you have generic HD style controls and can get about anything you want that is advertised. The rest of us with 04 and newer bikes are stuck with BDM unless we change the controls out completely.

Also, look at your brake side foot control and see if you see the Thunderheart emblem. My 03 had Thunderheart controls. If so you can get just the extension brackets from them.

Gotcha, yes there is a thunderheart emblem on the controls. I'd love to put bigger/longer pegs on there too! I'm 5'11" and on long rides my legs cramp up a little, the 2.5" extensions would be ideal...Will I need to extend any lines or anything?

I had the same on my 03. I called ThunderHeart and they sent me just the extensions so didn't have to get complete replacement. Give them a call they are good people to work with. I think her name was Heather if I remember right!

I didn't need to when I put mine on both on my 03 and with the extended BDM units on my 05. Plenty of slack to play with on the brake and wiring.

Hey Artie! Are you in the area this weekend. If so give me a call and come by and sit on my bike. 2.5" is a lot more than you may think. I am 6'2" and they were more than I needed. I am ok with them but more than I needed for sure.

look at after market and what i seen was from 300 to 1200 dollars. DAMN !!:down: Got the kit that fit the 06 K9 for about 237.00 :2thumbs: being over 6 foot tall, sure did help.. went for about a 2 hour ride today and was great.....
