Exhaust fitment

Energy One

I had a thought! I've got a 2 into 1 exhaust en route from Streetwalker - my thought was that because our cylinders are slightly taller than stock S&S, this means the exhaust ports are going to be slightly further away from each other, and slightly higher in comparison to the exhaust bracket, than they would on a stock S&S - could this be enough to cause an exhaust not to fit where it would fit with a stock S&S engine? how much play / tolerance can you allow? any views appreciated as always. I did tell Terry what bike I had but didn't think to mention this and he may not be aware of it.

Lee, I have bought 3 two into one pipes now. 2 from Martin Bros. and one from Stainless Creations. Both of them are generic V-Twin pipes and I never had a problem with either of them. Some require a little more persuasion than others.
You should have no problems.

Later,
Ray
