Engine build...stage II???

Gentlemen, I've been talking with Duane at Cycle City in Kingsport, TN about his stage II build. I've seen here on the forum that Duanes build includes zero deck on the cylinders, port & polish the heads, new springs and choice of cam (suggests 610). In talking with Cycle City they said compression would be about 10.2 to 1.

My question here - should I have them do anything additional or would this build be adequate? Adequate for what you may ask? I'd like the bike streetable, of course, as it will never see a track. I'd like to see hp/tq in the 125/130 range.

I will bring him my 06 K-9 with stock S&S 117. Carb is a G with Thunderjet. Exhaust RB Racing 2-1 Pro Stock. Any advice?

I had Duane and Cycle City do the stage 2 on my Big Dog S&S 117 when it was brand new. I went with the S&S 600 cam. I should have chosen the Andrews 610 just for a little more torque. But what I got now is a beast! Runs awesome. Stock Super G for now with the Dual Runner air cleaner and FSD pipes. Duane recommended the Mean Mothers but I want something more flashy. Compared to the stock Mastiff I had prior to this K9, the stage 2 makes a considerable difference. Worth the bucks if you like power....and Duane is a hell of a good guy.

What kind of difference in torque so you think that Andrews 610 has over the S&S 600? This would be on an engine built for the cam, everything else being equal.

PAChopper, I'm also curious about the 610 compared to the 600...in talking to Duane he suggested the 610 for my build. Additionally, any dyno numbers for your build?
