Emissions Label

I am new to the forum and a proud new owner of a new 08 Pitbull. Yes new 08 Pitbull.
The bike is awesome except for one thing. This unattractive label slapped on the left side of the frame. Does anyone know if this label can be removed legally that is ;-)? If not legally what are the possible repercussions? It sticks out like a sore thumb. Even more devastating is when you are showing off your new ride to your buddies someone says "The bike is awesome but what's up with the sticker.". I appreciate your response(s) in advance.

I took mine off and have never had a problem. You could always remove it and stick it under the seat or in your billfold. Easy to remove....a little heat from a hair dryer and wd40 to remove the glue residue and your done.

Got no stickers one mine. Been stopped by the cops 6 times or so...they could care less about the stickers.

kinda like the emissions themselves here in California
They care more about fining you for non Dot and loud pipes

seriously, most states are ok with em being removed.
Mine are on my sae tool box along with all the emblems from my truck

I have an '08 Pitbull also... I took ALL of the stickers off and removed the reflectors too
