how do you know if they are working properly? sometimes i notice my bike turns over a little slow,other times its fine ,but when i push them in manually it seems it turns quicker,not much thou..i did crack a starter in half not to long ago,maybe it was because of them not always working properly..thanks jim

if you put your finger on the rubber boot when you start the bike you will feel the CR drop - that tells you they're working

so i guess they work totaly different from the manual ones,the manual ones i had on my other chopper,i had to push them down then start the bike and when it started they popped out..i thought you can do the electric ones manually also someone on here once said if you puch the rubber cap down you could activate the cr?

yes you can - just push them down - hence why they drop when activated.
