Got some smooth side versions, but 8/32 is the small bolt size.

Ok, second try at the base. Not bad but I didn’t realize that the stock plastic part didn’t go all the way down into that recess in the paint saver. That sucks got to get rid of that gap at the bottom, so I will make yet a third base out if 3/8ths and counter sink it. But I did get to use the knurling fixture, which I have never used before!! If I could cut a ¼” hole in the star my problems would be solved but that funker is hard as diamond!!!! Believe Jake would call this a working prototype!!!

Yea no shit, it wigged out on me one time but after I took it in for recall/warranty shit it's been fine. Knock on some wood at aint touching it!!Damn, I haven't seen a white faced speedo in a long time.
