I’ll try to make this brief.
My brother has an 06 Ridge (2k miles) with 600 cam, Crane ignition, and original EHC. 2 months ago installed HID kit with no problems. After a month, the HID kicked off briefly but came back and no problems since. Top motor mount bolt to coil bracket broke and took it to a mechanic where he had the coil off to machine the bolt out. Brought it back home and the HID light went out permanently (high beam still worked) and the bike is not running right. At idle, the exhaust pops and there is more vibration from the motor. Thought it might be the EHC, but I placed the stock bulb back in and headlight is on. I took the seat off while idling and the EHC seems to be lit up normal, but the blue and yellow led’s on the ignition module are flickering. I don’t know much about the EHC and ignition module, but read the 08 & 05 manuals, searched the forum, and cannot figure out what is going on. Anyone have an idea before I give up and take this back to the mechanic?
