I'm looking for a BD4030-05 also.
Anyone know where to find one? The two bolts holding it to the frame have broken and I believe these are a ground...I thought about tack welding them back on but figured I'd burn it up. Any help is better than none.

I used JB Weld on a used EHC I purchased that came with them removed - they were broken out of the case. I JB'd 2 slightly longer cone head tapered bolts from a hardware store and used 'Kaptains' advice(on his website) of rubber/foam mounting it and so far no problems after bout 2,000 miles. Oh, I also cut a piece of I believe 1/4"(width between mounted harness connectors) plexiglass the width and height(from the EHC) of the 2 plastic harness connectors and then inserted it between the 2 mounted connectors and electrical taped around all 3 pieces to hopefully give more strength and rigidity from them pulling against(front & rear harness) each other with vibration - Axel incorporated a more rigid mounting plate on his new version EHC. I also liquid electrical taped the seams of the plastic harness boxes to hopefully waterproof - my original EHC had gotten moisture(corrosion tracks) in from the bottom between the metal male & female connection and corroded a main pin off. I finely drilled it out and purchased a pin from a computer store and solded it in and it works but am running the purchased used one.

Thanks for the advice. I considered using JB. What do I have to loose right? I'll try it and the other suggestions if this doesn't work I'll have to change both modules I believe.

I

This is mine off my '05 Mastiff that Jeff at Dead One Customs tested good. I replaced it with his ESC.... So I am willing to sell it if you're interested.

I have an extra entire wiring harness I may be willing to part with also, I believe it's off a '07 Pitbull but I can't remember for sure.

The original one off my '05 Mastiff was previously kind of "bastardized" so I am going to hang onto that just in case.

If this will work is gladly take it from your hands! He numbers don't match. It will take someone more knowledgeable than myself to know if it's interchangeable or not. And thanks for all the info guys I appreciate it!

Here is the one I have with broken prongs which I believe are grounds causing the pitbull not to engage the starter completely. Hope this helps making the decision if they are interchangeable or not.

I would call Jeff at DOC, but I believe it will work. He and Curtis at Wild Steed Worx are very knowledgeable and can tell you for sure.

The ignition switch hmm. Did this make a clicking sound like the starter solenoid was out? This may be my issue aswell. My thought was the EHC prongs were broke off and not allowing it to ground. From the pic you posted they are an exact match excluding the lights. It seems yours has 18 lights mine has 14.
