I sent a pair of formed earplugs (probably the best hearing protection available) to Liferider last season and he installed a pair of Klipsch earbuds. Now when Blacktopper and I are in strange territory and need to navigate around town, I just enter the addy on my cell Maps app, plug in the phones and drop the phon3e in my pocket. Around town navigation is a breeze, even in Austin or Atlanta.
Unfortunately, I'm afflicted with CRS syndrome and have a hard time remembering more than 2 directions in a series (especially when running 70 mph in heavy traffic), so high quality sound with clear spoken directions is invaluable.
I told Jonathan that proof of purchase of these ought to lower insurance rates because it makes navigation unknown areas so much safer.
I might even start listening to music sometimes.
