Drive Belt

I have a question about my drive belt.I replaced the main drive belt on it about 6 yrs ago. not sure on the milage on the belt. I did a visual inspection on the belt last weekend and no chunks were missing like the last belt. I know HD recommends 75,000 miles, but what about time as far as yrs?

Belts are pretty stable -- unlike tires that have different materials and should be replaced after no more than 8 years, regardless of miles.

If it looks good and has no damage, I'd just keep running it. I got a rock hole in one and still keep it as a backup -- I think it could run for many more miles.
