Draining Trans ???

you need to stand on your head, stick your tongue out the left side of your mouth, and close your right eye.:roll::roll:

unfortunately, that is the way it is on most BDs, that or covered by the oil lines. good luck and take your time, it's easy to strip the drain plug. remember, 20 oz. in the trans.

I guess I didn't make myself clear......... I'm sorry. The drain bolt to the tranny is directly above one of the shocks, and I don't see any way of reaching it short odf removing a shock..... and I don't want to do that. I think the 05 and newer didn't have that problem. Thanks

nah, i was just being sarcastic. it really IS that hard to drain the trans. some have taken the time, once they have cleared the obstructing offender (ie oil lines, shocks, etc) to do a little re-plumbing of the drain so it will be easier to do the next fluid change.

mine is blocked by (2) oil lines and a total bitch to access.
