What product works well to remove the residual from a downtube sticker?

Don't use that GOO Gone on the powder coat it will attack it. I used it on my swing arm on a small spot and started to remove the powder coat, made it gummy. Maybe put some on and quickly get it off. I'd use WD40 safer.

i used my heat gun sparingly then some wd-40, wiped right off.

used rub alcohol then wd 40. then waxed paint. That sucker didn't come off very easy.

Whatever you use, be sure to wash the area with soap and water afterwards to remove the solvent from your paint.
