Anybody have any tips or tricks before I dive in? Do I need to heat the label or does it pull off pretty clean in one piece. Removing glue residue is no problem now that I know about using WD-40 for that.

Like factory emblems on a truck, the labels on the downtube come off really easy with the assistance of a hair dryer. Use a razor blade to start the removal of the label, then pliers to pull off.

Mine were of an aluminum material. I threw mine away but some stick them under there seat. I used goo gone to remove the glue.

A hair dryer will take it off. I agree w/ KnotSo. Did it to mine and it didn't leave much of residue from the glue. Good Luck.

I used a hair dryer and Glide dental floss (safer than a razor IMO).....a little goo gone for final clean up and your all set.

Got-R-Done!

I just peeled carefully (only had one small tear) and stuck them on the envelope that has my warranty transfer letter in it which is in my user manual pouch. I used a cloth with wd-40 on it to clean the goo. It works like magic!

Getting those stickers off made room for me to move my oil cooler up a bit. Much better!
