Does your big dog fit in a motorcycle parking spot?

By my measurements I'd say boxer yes, bulldog and pitbull maybe, anything else no.
What year/model is your bike and do you:
a) fit in a motorcycle spot?
b) park between cars at a 45degree angle?
c) need a full parking spot like a car?

'06 K9.
You can put 3 in a car-sized space if you stagger them right.
Never had a problem tucking it into bike parking.

Oh so that's what he's talking about.
At my work we have a concrete pad just for motorcycles, don't want them falling through the asphalt but it's not marked like that. If I'm out and about by myself I take the whole parking spot like a car and if I'm with friends it's generally two too a spot and most always back in for a fast getaway.

The reason for the designated motorcycle spaces question is that that also applies to the parallel parking situation we're often times I won't have the space to park between cars with a car but on the bike I can easily slide in between

Sometimes so close together how do you stand the bike up to get it off the stand?:oldswear:
Yeah... and then there's all the wallet chains, keys, blah blah blah... and they don't even grab ahold of that stuff when they walk by your bike.

Any gathering has that potential, whether it's a local Bike Night or a major event.
But as to getting it in there... yeah, you can.

We have a couple of hole in the wall local establishments that I have a bike night at least once a week, I don't always go but sometimes I do. Parking is a premium and sometimes we have to take up the sidewalk. It gets pretty cramped at times.

I always have a plastic foot in my bag to put under the kick stand for parking on asphalt or grass/dirt.:old2:

Is that what people call a coin?
Thought about getting a points cover for that, but might be too slick. Maybe I can cover the cover was some clear vinyl.

Its only to keep it from sinking, I doubt it would slide.
Here's my pink foot I got for $2 and the metal one someone gave me but I don't carry that one with me, I use that if I have to put the kick stand down on the epoxy floor to keep it from scratching the floor:oldsmile:
