Does anyone leave their Big Dog outside risking (sun) damage to the paint?

Reason I ask is that many moons ago when I was young and business was good I invested in a 911.
Upon completion of the transaction I asked the guy about covers since I didn't have a garage, he told me I could leave it out whenever and as long as I wanted, it had 6 coats of high quality paint and the sun wouldn't damage it.
Wondering if it's the same/similar with Big Dogs?

Mine will sit in front of the house on nice days. Its a bike. Its meant to be outdoors in the wind and sun.

Mine are out in the sun every weekend if possible. But when not out & about for riding my dogs are in the pound. Under lock & key.

My dog is out in the sun every opportunity I get--usually Thursday nights and weekends. However, she stays in the garage under lock, key and security system.

I've had my since April '05. The only paint issue I've had was bubbles in the clearcoat. BDM repaired it under warranty. Other than that, no complaints about the paint. Your bike will be fine in the sun. But the seat may crack & come apart because it's pleather.
