Does anyone have a manual or video of 04 Big Dog Chopper Inverted Fork Removal? The one I have is very similar to BIKERS CHOICE M-IF-1000-0 RAKE 58mm Inverted Front End but not quite it. It has no ridge at all in the bottom legs like these do. I have turned the hex bolt on the left leg all the way out but it's still not free. All it did was separate the distance between the right leg and hub. So then I tried to take the neck apart but the bottom has a damn 1-3/8" spanner nut and I don't know what tool to buy to pull that.

Chopper doesn’t originally have an inverted forks, pretty hard for anyone to help not knowing what forks you have.

Post some pics of your setup. Probably pinch bolts in your upper and lower triple trees and they may be threaded into the triple trees. Depending on their condition they may be seized and try a little penetrating oil or silicone.

jeff do you have any pics of the triple trees from the backside? There may be pinch bolt threaded into the forks. Also you should remove the front wheel and fork brace if you haven’t already done so.

If it’s Ultima, I tried to find info and parts for a friend on their site. Looked like they’d given up the upside-down forks all together.... or maybe they just upgraded the page, what the fuck do I know.
