Do you know anything about this bike?

I went and looked at that bike about a month and a half ago, when it was up for sale near Brooksville, FL off of US 41. The owner had a few bikes up for sale. One of which was an 92 Evo, nice bike. The one you are questioning, was NOT running at the time I looked at it, the owner told me he "fried the computer", but had the replacement just not installed. Can't speak for anyone else, but I will not purchase a bike I can't hear run, or ride. I didn't ask about the title, but it does have an S&S~X Wedge motor. He said he would take $5,500.00 for it. To me, not worth it.

Can't say I wouldn't bring the old compression tester and run down the street with it... no battery needed. A lift of the seat to see if the harness was smoked. A chopstick down the spark plug hole, and with a certain crank position, a push on the piston to feel for a bad crank/bad small end. A better/cheaper bore scope than I have. A plug check. Get it running and ask your price. Not running, yeah, whatever you say [seller] it's worth this much.

Prototype, schmototype, seller, it's a fucking part bike. All I see are bike parts out of a catalog, you wanna sit on it and wait for eggs to hatch or take $4k and run with the money, guy! Comp and a stick calls the ball for me. Oh, it's been dropped> 3K or I walk.

Then it's 12 bucks for a large can of NAPA carb dip and 20 minutes of wow look at that once you wash it off with water. Injected? A can of gunk and a shot glass, where's the injector to go skinny dipping?

Comp: Has to be well above 170psi or better.
Spark: An old HD ignition off an evo engine family, or aftermarket. Wire the bike with minimum head/tail/brake.
Fuel: NAPA to the rescue.
New frame and front end... your call on it crashed or dropped. Does not look dropped, but neither is this post specific to this bike, but any bike buy.

I think JR03CHOPPER did confirm that was a prototype K9 that was built by BigDog. What is it titled as? You can probably check the VIN see if it has the K9 code #s. Heard a few dislikes for the x-wedge motor & that was from the guys who really know these BigDog motorcycles. I had toyed with the idea of running up to check it out. JJ took care of my need to do that! Much appreciated my Friend!! I do like the look very much. I say Nice Buy! Good luck with it Brother! :chopper:

It was at cyclecity in NY about 5-6 years ago. It was a proto type with no title. It had a hard start issue and "Andy" Barnes ( who worked at cyclecity at the time) had installed some compression releases, if you look on the left side of the engine you can see them. I believe it then made its way to ohio where I think it got titled? Then saw it for sale in FLA. That all I know about it
