Deep Cleaner and Protectant

My son, the chemist, also a biker got tired of re-polishing the aluminum, chrome and stainless so much. So he has developed a "Deep Cleaner and Protectant" treatment that makes the shine better and last quite a bit longer. It's basically a unique mixture of chosen solvents with small amounts of surface active materials added to help block oxygen and water from the surfaces. It does not polish! It's kind of expensive to put together so if he were to determine that there was some kind of exclusive market he would have to charge 4 or $5 for a 2oz bottle to be worth while to sell. He calls it "Formula 51" because it's the 51st formulation that he has mixed up and tested at this point. You apply it with a 2"x2" piece of an old tee shirt and wipe it to a shine with a micro fiber cloth. The good news is that just a few millileters will do an entire wheel or one side of an engine. Because it leaves a protective film it also prevents bugs from sticking to well. More easily removed with a damp paper towel.

I use it and think it's great! Anyway, do you guys think that such a product could have a market among guys nuts about shine like some of us, or not?

No, other than you can see my bike posted. He needs some close up before and after pics, I think, if he desides to market it. Right now he is not sure that there would be a large enough demand to make it worth while to sell. At the price, it would have to be of interest to people who really have good stuff and like to really have it shine longer after polishing. It doesn't replace polishing because it's not abrasive.

he might be the next billy mays, or like the sham wow dude,,, if it works take it to a bike event.. thay sell everything

A word to the wise, in todays world you probably want to put some kind of disclaimer on it. Some idiot might try to put it in something not intended for it and then try to sue your son for damages. Sounds like a good idea and product but be careful of those that are out for money. If you get some pics of before and after I would like to see them.
