So i am trying to transport my bikes from N.Y to Texas. I contacted this company and spoke withGabe and set up pick up and delivery. After my 100 dollar deposit ive spoken with trucker who barely speaks english, ok not everyone does and straighten out confusion on pick up. Gabe said call any problems three times today no answer,no contract except receipt for deposit? Ive never transported a vehicle before, and i know if seems fishy back away. Got this company from member on the board and wondering if others have used them and any other info? Is it common that contracts are sighned day of pick up? Obviously the guy shows up and im noy liking what im seeing bye bye! But if you tell me call any problems and you dont work Sunday let me know. Any people with experience with transport process chime in much app!

I found this guy last year through Uship and used him to bring my BD from Philly to Wichita. Just over $600. Had a large enclosed trailer and was great to work with. I think he's out of Tulsa and does an East coast run once a month. Hope this helps, good luck with the move.
Liferider is right, go through Uship and you have more protection as a consumer.

I used a company out of Milwaukee, WI that basically only ships bikes. It was 4 years ago, so I looked through my files, was called "HAUL BIKES" or "DAILY DIRECT LLC". I bought my previous bike from a guy who had it listed on Ebay at one time, and I had stayed in contact and dealed with him. Ended up buying the bike, and it was in Washington, DC! Was like July time frame, contacted them and they scheduled the pickup on a smaller truck and then took it to Milwaukee for a full load coming out to Sturgis on a big enclosed, double deck semi. Worked out GREAT! Think I paid $700, bike showed up and the driver had his bike in the trailer to go to Sturgis later in the week. Key was zip tied to bars and he rolled her off and said "there you go"

I got a " Booking Confirmation " email with the pick up date and price etc. Then an email from paypal confirming my $100 deposit. They kept me informed throughout the process. I dealt with Chris Korte and his dad was the delivery driver. Here is Chris's email, maybe try that? chris@dvtrans.com
Also, once they showed up, I checked bike over, they have you sign saying there was no shipping damage etc and then they sent me a paypal invoice for the remaining $550 and I paid and driver left.

Yes, have used Uship a few times and would use them again. Keep in mind this service just allows shippers to bid on your move. You can see the details about each bidder & contact them w/questions prior to selecting one.

As always, the lowest bid MAY NOT be your best choice!

I used Keyboard Transport to ship mine from Tampa to Louisiana. Best in the Business and reasonable rates. They specialize in shipping motorcycles all over the US including to and from major Rallies.
