Hey need some help here on a 2003 Pittbull

Last week battery died charged it up bike ran good but checked the stator and was only giving 4.5 volts out

Updated to the compu fire 40 AMP system bike ran great for approx 100 miles
When idle hat 14.6 volts at the battery

Now comes the problem went for a ride this morning and all electrical died , after a few minutes it came on and I was able to putter halfway home with spitting and sputtering then everything is totally dead

Battery has 13.6 volts and holding but no power going anywhere
All cables are tight and wires connected

Any ideas where to start I'm thinking ignition switch , how can I test the switch ?

Issue resolved

Just an update in case anyone runs into losing all power in there bike.

I Went through all the wires from the battery to ignition switch a found a broken in the power wire going from the battery to a black box with a green and red light on it . Fixed the wire and it restored all the power back.

This black box has a harness to the ignition switch , a solid orange wire and another that plugs directly into the starter with leads from a ground and positive to the battery , without juice flowing into it the entire bike is dead.

Does anyone know the sole purpose of this piece or Know a work around for this piece if it went totally bad ?
