I have heard that about the red. Nobody has said this is an issue with the blue. My bike is yellow/blue themed so the blue will go just fine.I just hate my red one, can't see shit in the sun. I would much prefer a needle speedometer.
As long as there's no flashing red behind you it's all good!I just hate my red one, can't see shit in the sun. I would much prefer a needle speedometer.
How is the screen visibility in full sun? What about rain? What phone are you using? What App?View attachment 58811 View attachment 58812 View attachment 58813 View attachment 58810 I got rid of mine all together.

Interesting Mount -- Did you make it yourself? Is it welded to the bars?
I've been thinking about something along these lines myself, but thinking of using the speedo sensor and not gps for speed/mileage and more than likely "burning" a phone to stay in the bike sealed so that its watertight. Also considering using LED's for speed/mileage and using phone for GPS, MUSIC, TPS
I can see a benefits I wish we had options that are not rectangular phones....I designed this in cad and 3D printed it. I use an iPhone X. No problem in full sun. I try to avoid rain, but these phones are pretty resilient.
I use a couple different apps. The one shown is speedTracker. The one I find myself using most is actually waze. You can have a map with speed and music on top of the map.

The best app I have used is actually Ulysse speedometer. Unfortunately for me it’s android only.
I have it drilled and tapped into the bars. If you look at the pic without the phone you can see the embedded charging mat (the round device) and the two screw pockets adjacent to it.
I also added LEDs along the bottom for neutral, L&R turn, Hi beam, oil, low fuel and EFI check engine. They are all hard wired to the bike.
