WOWEhhh.... I guess I'm in no hurry now anyway. I've got my bike at Rodney's getting some crash damage repaired.
Got run over by a cager in Conway...![]()
Hate to hear that Brian. The folks at Rodneys are pretty good. They should be able to fix you up. Keep us posted on the outcome and get well soon.It did about $6K worth of damage and I got a fractured sacrum out of the deal. The right front turn signal was smashed, triple trees bent, right fork slider damaged, both brake levers damaged, both L&R footpegs damaged, heat shields on the exhaust scratched to hell, air cleaner smashed in, right mirror damaged, and various other little scratches and dings.
Oh yeah!! Already got the check and the bike is in the shop getting the damage fixed on the cager's insurance company's dime. Just waiting on the medical settlement stuff to get finished now. Had to have tons of x-rays and a coupla MRI's on the pelvis.Damn that blows... you're making a ins claim right?
Yeah, they're a little shorthanded this week since Rodney and at least one other guy went to Sturgis with their company demo stuff, but they are getting to it.Hate to hear that Brian. Not sure what a sacrum is, but sounds like it would hurt.
Yeah man... I'm good. Just itching to get my bike back and get some wind in my face. :2thumbs:That sucks! Hope you get better soon.
What did you use to cut it? Thinking about using the mount and breather and go to a simmer or s&sThe D&M is a piece of crap. Looks cool, works like shit. I have one. I cut it off at the elbow and slid on a K&N filter. The reason I know is it killed my dyno #'s. Even my big K&N takes away 5 HP but I have to run something.
