D&M bullet filter cover

Hey all!

I bought a D&M air cleaner from a forum member, but decided to go with a different style cover.

Sooo... I have the old cover for sale on ebay.

So if you have an LE (or any other blacked out bike) and a D&M A/C this might be right up your alley.

I have the chrome coned bullnosed end with filter if you want it. I cut mine off at the elbow and slid on a K&N 6" red filter.

I did the same thing but used an oval filter I snagged for almost nothing.

I burned up a 4" grinder cutting the flange off the elbow.

It took all day but I had fun making/destroying something for the bike.

I am using that while I finish making my own custom filter from a filter from my roadstar days.

Skull theme was on the roadstar. I am not going with it again, but with another idea.

I think I am going to mount it lower.

I had it on the side with the point towards the rear, but it hit my leg to much.

Hell I don't know.

Trying to decide if I want to do an open primary as I need to take off the primary anyway for a trans leak.

Time will tell.
