Cobra needs an 02 sensor to plug into their unit. No offense, but fuel injection reads a pre programmed set of variables. The rest are computations sending out the same demand as was the input. It's called frequencies. Your jumper box or piggy is nothing more than a frequency box. And it means to adjust the jetting, or ignition by frequencies that still have to math the new alpha number of the piggy.

Conceptually, this computer has to run in the absolute so it follows specific laws or it won't work. It's that simple. So for you to say you don't believe in it is like saying you don't believe in the way the bike runs now in this wave of frequencies.

And for you to say you know how the cobra works and this bike being open loop, the cobra's pdf [instructions] keeps looking for an 02 wire harness. Why wasn't that caught by someone? Here I'm learning product the hard way.

If you say it's backfiring it should tell you this is a different animal to diagnose. It has nothing to do with FI. The math formula no matter the rpm, or throttle load that is being placed upon it, the math says look someplace else. It is that absolute is infinity is that rpm level no matter if it spun 400,000 rpm or more. It's not fuel trim or the bike would seize by now being lean or out of time or whatever would damage the engine.

It's ignition or you have a slight lag with a dirty air cleaner, or loaded up plugs. So you run a timing light off the spark plug leads. One runs fine, you swap to the other cylinder, and see if that cuts out the timing light? If not, a fuel problem. Something lighthat.

Man, if you saw the 14.7 is running in the absolute in all thatheory, then the math better follow that same constant, right? Only thing that displaces one or the other is who came in sooner to displace the other? And that is called fuel to air ratio.

Use inn EFI. You get it wrong, the topic is up for discussion you come in with another number to replace the 1 atmosphere; if you want to argue the facts as I know them.

I'm calling out the tech speak, not anyone here personally. You step on that carpet, you put yourself there. I read your abstract or the steps you think you see, where I see things the factory won't discuss that black box to anyone. It still needs basic chips to work the absolute, right? The rest is programming the numbers so they don't breakout of the X to Y. It's complicated.

If you don't have a basic handle of this animal, the car/bike dealer at the drive is going to suck you in, you thought carbs and points were simple.
