Custom key switch

I am looking to replace the stock key switch on my 02 Pitbull (This is the one mounted in the coil cover on the side of the engine) with a custom switch maybe with a maltese cross key but I cant figure out which one would fit. Anyone replaced one of these or know which one will fit in the coil cover without a lot of modifications?

From the research that I have done for the Wire-Plus swap and having to change out the ignition switch, there isn't one that will go right in. The coil cover will need to be modified a bit to fit a HD Sportster style switch in it.

Thanks, That was a great "How to" you posted. I may use the switch you used in the post, I like the idea of being able to turn the lights off when starting.

i have been having problems with my switch some times when riding it looses power and have to jiggle key to come back on i have been thinking about something like this THANKS!!!!!
