Cruise- mate

I know Im prpbably not the first to have this happen but I can't find it on
here. On mine when I try to set it its stripped. Can't get it to lock it just slides over the grooves. Had it on for about 3 months.

Would a loose screw on the bottom of the lever cause the problem? It's been long enough since I installed mine that I can't remember how it works in there.

I went to their site tonight and left a message to what has happpened and my e-mail address. I will let you all know what happens. And I checked it Kurt and everything is tight.

Dumb question, but did you do the pull lever down & rotate to adjust it as per last part of instructions.

T-Bird, Mine would do the same thing. What I did was take the hand control off and took my trusted dremel with some course paper and took some material off the controls where they mate. As you know the hole is between both halves. I took out just enough material to make it tight. Then I put red lock tight screwed it back on and now its as tight as a frogs ass (water tight)

That took care of my loose Cruse Mate :2thumbs:
